Product description
The British aircraft manufacturer Hawker gained particular renown for its fighter planes. In the 1940s, the lightweight aluminum material used experienced a boom, and the shiny metallic surface of thin, riveted aluminum sheets was very popular. Hawker therefore also produced furniture in the mid-1940s.
Aluminum construction, high-gloss polished, with original black Galalith handle.
A super-lightweight piece of furniture that was used for aircraft and zeppelin interiors.
Small spot dents on the front, otherwise in good condition.
