Cabinet and painting by the Chaam artist Berrie Martens. Martens is known for his Happy People art. The art comes from the Martens Gallery in Chaam. Martens was born on March 28, 1959 in Chaam. Berrie grew up there, with brothers and sister. His parents had a textile factory. During his high school years he traded in all kinds of things. After studying civil engineering at MTS in Breda, he developed himself as an entrepreneur, from furniture seller to artist. His motto is Carpe diem. Martens has done a number of exhibitions abroad. "Martens goes to New York, Barcelona and Paris".
The book that comes with it contains his entire life story.
