Concerns an Etching of the main building of Landgoed Soeslo in Zwolle.
Henk Siepel has been living in Lelystad since 1978. There in the polder he got to know his sources of inspiration. The landscapes with high skies, the vastness of the polder land, the changing coastline. Also the harbor towns and the landscapes of the surrounding old country. Henk Siepel was mainly busy with graphics. With etching. His drawing hand and his precise way of capturing is extremely suitable for the technique of line etching. Here he has created a rich oeuvre, with mainly maritime subjects. Lately, he still works sporadically with the "Black art" but there are a number of ideas in his head that need to get out one day. In the winter season then, because the graphic art is mainly studio work.
