Beautiful 7 arm Mid - Century candlestick. Design by Swedish designer Gunnar Ander for Ystad-Metall. 1960s. Made of teak wood, black lacquered steel and brass/copper. In very good condition with light signs of use. Fantastic piece of Scandinavian design. For 12 mm or 1/2 inch diameter candles. Gunnar Ander (1908-1976) is known for his metal and glass work. He is considered one of the most influential Swedish designers of the postwar period and his creations are highly sought after today by collectors and vintage design enthusiasts.
