A stylish glass pendant lamp manufactured by German manufacturer Glashütte Limburg and designed by Herbert Proft. This designer designed several lamps for this company in the 60s and 70s. In his work he was strongly influenced by the Bauhaus style. In 1974, he won the IF Design Award for one of his creations.
The glass bulb hangs from metal hooks, which can be extended with additional supplied hooks. Inside the lamp hangs a light source, which is separate from the glass bulb. Thus, the lamp is not attached to the glass sphere.
The lamp is in very good condition. To make sure it will hang completely straight, you will have to play a bit with the mounting hooks. Personally, I actually finished this pretty quickly.
