Boudoir / dressing table / toilet / bathroom set (3 pieces) produced by Val Saint Lambert made of uranium glass (see last photo: this is the effect under uv light) circa 1930s. Consisting of: a small jar, a larger jar and a ring holder. In good condition, almost no signs of use. Uranium glass is glass that contains a small amount of uranium dioxide, which gives it a distinctive yellow to greenish color and lights up under UV light. It became popular in the 19th and 20th centuries for household items and is now popular among collectors because of its rarity and historical value. It is slightly radioactive but usually not harmful to health. Modern uranium glass is usually produced without radioactive materials. However, caution is recommended when handling and exhibiting it.
