This particular pendant lamp is made of bronze-colored glass and comes from Glashütte Limburg in Germany.
The lamp consists of a mouth-blown cylinder whose surface is formed by 9 columns of 3 flattened cushions each. The lamp's design is reminiscent of work by Finnish designer Helena Tynell.
The glass is iridescent so that an oily golden patina is formed on the lamps.
The cylinder is encased in a brass fixture and the ceiling cap is white plastic.
Once the lamp is lit, this gives a stunning effect, both on the lamp itself and on the ceiling and wall. This makes this lamp look fantastic in a hallway or stairwell.
Even when the lamp is not lit, it is an ornament to the eye.
The lamp is dated by us in the 60s/70s and is in good vintage condition, that is, it has slight signs of wear befitting its age.
The white cord and ceiling cap have been renewed by us, as well as the socket.
