Designer: W.H. Gispen Type: Model 107 Manufacturer: Gispen Culemborg Year: '30 to '66 The chair is in excellent condition. Faux leather is whole and the chrome work is rust free. Willem Hendrik Gispen was born in Amsterdam in 1890. In 1933, ir. W. van Osselen became director alongside W.H. Gispen. Van Osselen was more concerned with business while W.H. Gispen dealt with design work. Van Osselen sought to increase scale and produce office furniture. Economies of scale were achieved when the company moved to Culemborg in 1934.
