Black/gray Mid - Century Gispen 413 armchair, designed by Willem Hendrik Gispen for Gispen in 1937. This is an original old version from the late 1950s. Compared to model 413 R, the frame of the 413 is lower and leans back a bit more, resulting in a very comfortable seat. The matte chrome frame is still in very good condition, as are the black Bakelite armrests. The upholstery has been renewed with a very good quality black/gray furniture fabric from de Ploeg, and the seat and back have new cold foam. In short, a gem with a great seat.
