Due to the dissolution of my art collection, I am selling three extraordinary compositions by the award-winning artist Gerd Winter in mixed media on wood with acrylic underpainting and a final layer of oil paint.
Winter's works as a master student at the Städelschule in Frankfurt am Main are represented in numerous public collections as well as national institutions and corporate collections.
Without concrete pictorial content, solely through color structures and gradients, Gerd Winter conveys moods and emotions to the viewer in his works.
Layer by layer, color fields are applied to wood or canvas, uncovered or covered over again until a balanced pictorial composition is achieved.
