The shiny ring is tumbled.
The pedestal is made of marble, it has dimensions of 63x63x40mm.
The sculpture is in new condition and is 18 cm high including the marble base.
Ger van Tankeren (1937) is a self-taught artist. When the demand for his synthetic resin sculptures began to decrease, he switched to casting sculptures in a tin alloy, which he then bronzed. Ger is known for his versatility and eye for detail, he made images from very realistic things to artistic and religious scenes. Ger remained active in making various models until he was 82.
