GER VAN TANKEREN (b. 1937) is self-taught. When the demand for his resin sculptures began to decline, he switched to casting sculptures in a tin alloy, which he then bronzed. Ger is known for his versatility and attention to detail. He produced images ranging from very realistic things to artistic and religious scenes.
