Luxury 'Supercalif' coffee table designed by Luigi Massoni for Gallotti & Radice in 1981. The top is of 15mm thick crystal glass with cut edges. The two bottom pieces are of mirrored solid crystal rods. The table gives off a beautiful glow when light shines on it. The coffee table is in very good condition, with a small chip at the top of one of the feet, this is otherwise not noticeable when the top is on it. A real eye catcher and Italian design at its best. User marks befitting its age. A few superficial scratches / hairlines These can certainly be polished away.
Unfortunately, the sheet landed once too hard on the tip of one of the supports. This gave a small damage of approx. 3 mm on the carrier and a pitting of approx. 1 mm with a shallow somewhat wider scratch of approx. 5 cm length on the underside of the leaf. Absolutely not noticeable( the leg is underneath) and definitely. RESTORABLE. See last 2 pictures
