This beautiful ceiling lamp was designed by the famous Gaetano Sciolari for the Belgian lamp manufacturer Boulanger. Although Sciolari had initially studied architecture, after the untimely death of his father, he took over the leadership of the Sciolari Lighting Company by necessity. Under this name, he created numerous futuristic lamps reflecting his innovative design style.
This particular specimen, believed to have been produced in the 1970s, is still in very good condition. Except for a small scratch, as seen in the photo, the lamp appears almost like new. It is a wonderful example of Sciolari's style and a unique addition to any interior design collection.
