Product description
A rare footstool or stool from the mid-1960s by the English quality furniture manufacturer G-plan.
The solid wood frame is high quality teak with brass feet. Much attention has been paid to removing the old lacquer layer and reworking the teak. Therefore, the frame is in like-new condition and now shows off the nephews beautifully.
The brass is original and has some charming spots due to age (see photos).
The "floating" seat is made of a (refurbished) foam layer on a slightly bent pressed wood base.
A bouclé furniture fabric by De Ploeg in dark eggplant was chosen for the reupholstery (for the best impression, see last photo).
In short, vintage design of yesteryear, a unique piece of furniture in today's interior !
