Perhaps one of the finest mid / high boards ever designed and made is surely this model by the English brand G-Plan. Designed by V. B. Wilkins, this piece of furniture was the highlight of the popular and precious Fresco model series. This iconic Danish-style inspired furniture piece will most certainly bring the WOW Factor to any room and help you put down the Mid - Century style you are looking for! Made of solid teak hardwood combined with Afromosia wood for the handles and legs, this is a high quality piece of furniture. The combination with very solidly applied real wood veneer parts also makes for a cabinet that is unparalleled not only in design but also in weight. Made with craftsmanship of the highest level, this is a cabinet to be proud of and we are rightly talking about a cabinet of heavy quality! On the upper section we see, among other things, a unique sliding door for the left section and a flap door for the right section. In the lower section, 3 drawers and 2x 2 doors provide unprecedented flexibility and variability in storage options. G-plan produced some of the most iconic furniture of the past 60 years. All their furniture fits and combines great with and within the many styles from the decades since. A G-plan is and always will be a jewel for your interior! The entire piece is in a clean vintage condition and comes from the first owner who purchased this cabinet in the 1960s. The most noticeable signs of use are on the sides where some darker spots / dots provide a patina befitting a piece of furniture over 60 years old.
