* VERY RARE! Biography:Willy Guhl was born in Switzerland in 1915. Influenced by his carpenter father, he trained as a cabinetmaker. He then studied at the School of Arts and Crafts in Zurich before opening his own workshop in 1939. Driven by the desire to pass on his knowledge, Willy Guhl began teaching at the School of Applied Arts in 1941 and became director in 1951. At the same time, he began working for Eternit AG, for which he designed numerous pieces of furniture.
