Fritz Hansen design dining table, the Super-Circular. Designed in 1968, this specimen is from 1986. Designed in a collaboration between Piet Hein, Bruno Mathsson and Arne Jacobsen. Beautiful spacious dining table with the famous chrome tension legs. Table top in beech veneer. The dimensions are 140 cm round and 73 cm high.
The edge of the table top is beech wood. The more modern variants have an aluminum edge. Due to the beveled edge of the top, this seems very thin, but it is much sturdier than it looks. Because the legs are slightly inward, the top seems to float.
This table combines perfectly with Frits Hansen's butterfly chairs. Eight chairs fit around this large table. These chairs are not included in the sale.
This table still looks clean, but has some signs of use such as small scratches and dents. The legs have recently been fitted with original new plastic protective caps.
