The chairs were produced by Ahrend in the Netherlands in the 1960s. The label is still present on some of the chairs. The design is a fine example of mid-century industrial design. The visible rough weave structure on the seat emphasizes their vintage character without compromising quality. They are in reasonably good condition, with signs of use appropriate for their age.
