Named after the American city of Minneapolis in the state of Minnesota, the beautiful lamp is a perfect fusion of Scandinavian minimalism and Japanese tranquility. The lamp was originally designed by Friis & Moltke for the Scanticon Hotel and Conference Center in Minneapolis in 1984, but the design is as beautiful and remarkable today as it was then. The wide, round Screen provides a beautiful distribution of light, and its unobtrusive design gives the lamp's silhouette a timeless expression. A slender tube ending at the base runs down from the lampshade, giving the lamp a light and elegant expression.
