Beautiful large vintage glass bowl "Forest" by Lasisepät Mäntsälä Finland, designed by Pertti Kallioinen in the early 1970s. This impressive bowl exudes the charm of Scandinavian design from the 60s and 70s.
Lasisepat Mantsala were Finnish glassmakers. The factory was operational from 1978-2003 when it became part of Iittala. Their best-known designer was Pertti Kallioinen for his Cow Parsley and Metsa (Forest) series made in the 1970s.

🧊🪵 The clear "square" glass bowl with the "Metsä" (forest) texture is a masterpiece by Pertti Kallioinen. The dramatic relief of a forest, with branches swaying in the wind, gives this bowl a unique and striking look. The outside is beautifully textured, while the inside is smooth for easy cleaning.
