Folding screen by Manufrance Saint Etienne 1950s France Pine 182cm high, 200cm wide, 2cm deep Manufrance, short for Manufacture Française d’Armes et Cycles de St. Étienne (“French Arms and Cycle Factory of St. Étienne”), was a French mail-order company established in 1888 in the industrial town of St. Étienne. As France’s first mail-order business, Manufrance offered a wide range of products, including bicycles like the Hirondelle, furniture, fishing rods, and other household items.
