String Light Cone Head lamp, designed by Michael Anastassiades for the Italian Flos, has a particular charm to it that ultimately lies in the extra long cable. Anastassiades got the inspiration for the design when looking out from train windows. He was fascinated by how overhead wires connected the pylons but at the same time divided the landscape, and wanted to express this poetic sentiment in his String Light lamps. The lamps have a particularly long cable that, with the help of hooks included in the package, can be hung in a configuration as minimalistic or as complicated as you wish, taking the light source to where it is needed. String Light Floor Switch is an accessory designed for String Light lamps by Flos. Floor Switch is an alternative for the traditional canopy while also enabling you to turn the lights on and off at floor level; it is designed for up to two String Light heads and has enough room to wrap 10 meters of cable inside it.
