The "Family Vase" is part of The New Originality: Lessons from China , a project on copying as a new understanding of originality. The series of vases is inspired by Chinese "Famille" colored vases from the 17th and 18th centuries. The vase comes in four models, 3D printed with very fine sand, which makes it extremely fragile - if filled with water, it falls apart. The coloring is also a kind of copy, but here the exact color schemes of classical Chinese vases have been turned into color bands instead of decorative shapes. 2 pieces, also available separately - send me a message. There are a few small (2mm) dots on the top of 1 vase. Also a few white specks but might get rid of them because it is on top, not in the material. In the photos I have shown them clearly, send me a message for more photos/videos if necessary. The zoomed in photos also show well the details of the wood texture printed along with it. Note: no vase for water ;) part of the concept
