New upholstery and polyether cushions. The plywood shell is covered all around with a new layer of polyether.
The chair has been rebuilt and is in absolute top condition.
Geoffrey Harcourt was a French leading designer for whom design was just as important as seating comfort. The F588 is a swivel armchair on a black plastic trumpet base. The higher model is seen as the men's armchair. Flat polyether cushions have been chosen to achieve maximum seating comfort. Also in the choice of fabric, color and type of material, the starting point is the 60s. This design was created approximately 60 years ago and has the appearance of a modern chair.
The F588 has been a highly sought-after model from its design series for some time now. It can be said that Harcourt was way ahead of his time.
