Product description
In 1963, Friso Kramer and Wim Rietveld designed the "Reply" drafting table for Dutch manufacturer Ahrend the Circle, inspired by the work of Jean Prouvé. This iconic piece of industrial Dutch design was designed to meet a variety of needs. With its versatility, the worktop can be set in all possible positions: high for standing work, low for sitting work or children's creative activities, and even flat as a regular table.
The easy-to-use mechanisms, consisting of only two buttons, make it easy to adjust the height and position. The frame of the "Reply" drawing table is made of folded sheet steel, with legs that provide strength and stability during use. The model features a gray painted metal frame and a wooden board.
The timeless design of this drawing table was awarded the prestigious design prize "Signe d'Or" in Brussels in the same year of its introduction. Combining functionality, elegance and craftsmanship, the "Reply" drafting table remains an essential piece in the world of industrial design.
