Just to give you some ideas. In the 60s, he exhibited alongside Magritte at the Galerie Pfeiffer in Brussels. And several pictures show them together. He exhibited at the Gakerie Tamara Pfeiffer in 1969 with, for example: Ambrogiani, Bricault, Jean Cocteau, G de Pauw, De Muylder, Mar Ernst, Hilaire, Jamotte, Felicien Robs, etc... as evidenced by the invitation card included in the photos. Eugène Eechaut 1928-2019 In 1958, E Eechaut received his first distinctions as a painter at the "Centre Européen d'art et esthétique". From 1968 onwards, he participated in and organized exhibitions with "Galerie Tamara Pfeiffer" throughout the 1960s and 1970s. His style is initially described as "FANTASTIC" art, with elegance and finesse in his interpretations. His colors are instantly seductive, allowing us to discover the subject, which then seduces us once and for all. Throughout his career, E Eechaut has exhibited in some of Europe's leading galleries and art shows. Catalogs and invitations include works by such artists as Jean Cocteau, René Magritte, Dunoyer de Segonzac, Léon Navez, Félicien Rops, Paul Klee and many others. E Eechaut was a wealthy man whose works were impossible to sell, even within his own family. He jealously guarded his production, hence the lack of information and sales results for his work. His recently rediscovered studio opens the door to his entire body of work. The archives of his career were rediscovered at the same time as his work, giving it another dimension.
