Study sheet with text in the upper part mirrored in the etching print, In the lower part two circles, each depicting a forest, left and right with people. Unsigned. A similar etching by Aad van Houwelingen "notes on two circles". hangs in Museum De Lakenhal in Leiden. Aad (Arie) van Houwelingen (Zoeterwoude, October 19, 1934 - Leiden, March 18, 2018) was a Dutch visual artist, draughtsman, graphic artist, painter and collagist. For his drawings he worked mainly with rice paper, Japanese paper and homemade ink. Etching was his second commonly used method. He was known for incorporating his (homemade) diaries into his art. In recent years he had concentrated on sculptures, small drawings and writing. The frame is 87 cm high by 70 cm wide and 3 cm thick
