Product description
Designer Erik Wørts designed this high-quality sofa for Ikea as early as the late 1960s. Its frame, completely made of solid wood, is beautifully heavy and has a beautiful finish and model. The transitions from horizontal to vertical parts are very refined, for example, take a look to the shape of the armrests, you don't see them so stylish and with a sense of detail every day. Even the back has been designed with a great sense of detail and equipped with fun design elements such as a thickened edge. Although we now know Ikea as a home discounter, it was certainly already a trendsetting company in the late 1960s, which produced first-class modern furniture in its range, introduced design to the masses. This sofa is a good example of this. The quality is very high, the finish very nice, the completely original upholstery, in neutral but also very attractive dark green, is a feast for the eyes and is still in very good condition. The sofa offers ample space for 3 people and has a relaxed seat, matching furniture from the 1960s and 1970s. This sofa was cherished until last winter by the first owners, who lived in Sweden. This timeless The sofa will be an enormous boost in quality in terms of finish, style and design and thus form an upgrade for everyone's interior, a stable investment that is beautiful to look at and to use and enjoy on a daily basis.
