This armchair was designed in the 1960s by Erik Kirkegaard for Høng Stolefabrik in Denmark. The chair is often wrongly attributed to Svend Åge Eriksen. The difference is in the details, including the shape of the armrests. In addition, the Kirkegaard chair has a slightly higher and straighter seat than the Svend Åge Eriksen chair. The rosewood is in fine condition with a nice markings and patina.
