Product description
Very charming antique English arm chair with beautiful patination. Seats very well too!
Handmade of mahogany, probably from the later George III period, 1810-1820. Characterized by the delicate neoclassical style, with slightly tapered legs and subdued ornamentation, in which the French influence on English furniture design at that time is also visible.
The chair is in very good and solid condition with signs of use befitting its age. Nice light patina on the armrests.
Seat is removable and covered with an ochre yellow velour upholstery; it is somewhat faded, but still in very decent and clean condition (no stains, thoroughly cleaned). Padding is very firm. Easily reupholstered if desired.
Equipped with floor glides (can be taken off, of course).
Dimensions:
Seat height: 49 cm
Height: 88 cm
Armrest height (middle): 72 cm
Width: 50 cm
Depth: 56 cm
Originated from smoke- and pet-free home.
