About Edith:
I am visual artist Edith Madou. (1964)
Since graduating from the Academy of Fine Arts in Maastricht (1992)
I work as an independent artist. My studio is located in Deventer.
I exhibit my artworks in galleries at home and abroad.
I have specialized in realistic ceramic sculptures.
I get inspiration from everyday life, old cookbooks,
the conviviality and traditions in the Netherlands from the past to the present.
Another great source of inspiration is maritime life and everything to do with fishing.
