Early Siesta Armchair by Ingmar Relling for Westnofa. A vintage restored piece of furniture with a frame stained in the original wine red color from laminated beech. The canvas seat/backrest is attached with loops over the frame, whose parts are fastened together with black anodized bolts. The padded leather cushion is original and in very good condition. The "cantilever" base forms a flowing whole with the seat section which in turn extends to form the back section. The canvas loops and 'cantelever' base are a rather unique early version of this armchair. Outstanding Scandinavian design from the 1970s! From first owner.
