Condition: Nice condition - minimal signs of wear and age - there are light traces of glue at the attachment of the base and the attachment of the hood, this has to do with the gluing of the parts.
Aldo van den Nieuwelaar, best known for the Pastoe cabinet series 'Amsterdammer', designed a table lamp for ABN Bank. His designs have been featured in exhibitions at the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam, Museum Boijmans van Beuningen in Rotterdam and the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
He came up with this beautiful light and transparent design with an acrylic glass base and a translucent shade. This lamp was made in a limited edition. Lamp has been tested and works properly.
