Beautiful large antique chest of drawers of very high quality, chiffonnière from the first half of the 19th century. The cabinet bears a beautiful patina of age and use, characterfully weathered in the right places. This fine cabinet is made of 2 parts resting on top of each other, the front is overlaid with mirrored 'flamed' mahogany veneer on an oak base, 6 large and deep drawers with brass fittings, the drawers have dovetail joints, the cabinet stands on tapered legs. This beautiful object is in good used antique and unrestored condition, some chips, scratches and cracks in the veneer, small missing parts, 2 drawers have slats inside.
