Unique cabinet! Coated metal frame, with 18 plywood compartments. Some compartments are open on 2 sides, others are closed on 1 side, or have an opaque colored artificial fabric side or inner partition. 3 compartments (including 1 with drawer) are stained dark gray. The compartments can be distributed around the cabinet as you see fit (this must take into account the height differences of the compartments). The compartments are removable and can be turned around (upside down or backwards). This makes the cabinet usable from 2 sides and ideal as a store cabinet or room devider. The cabinet was made around 1997 for a museum store, probably by or under the supervision of architect G.J. van den Belt. dimensions: h 213, d 43.5, w 253 cm. The frame is not demountable.
Some compartments have a (moisture) stain. The unchiseled compartments are slightly discolored. This is not visible in use, but is visible when the compartments are removed from the frame.
