Mid century space age design hanging lamp from the Dutch Dijkstra, with the acrylic shade so characteristic of this brand. This version has a double shade, the inner shade is white and the outer shade is transparent brown, giving the light a warm diffused appearance. The edge of the hood is made of sturdy brushed aluminum, the handle of the hood has a dark bronze color which contrasts nicely with the white inside.
The designer is unknown, the manufacturer is Dijkstra, the lamp is marked. The design is from the 1970s.
The lamp is in a good used vintage condition with some minor signs of wear that are not really noticeable once the lamp is hanging. The shuttle system works great.
The length of the lamp is at least 60cm when fully extended, the lamp is 140cm long. The diameter of the shade is 35cm and the height of the shade is 25cm.
