This beautiful 'Diana' safari chair was designed by Karin Mobring for IKEA in Sweden in the early 1970s. This chair is from early series production. It is in good original condition. The chair has a frame of solid pine and brass screws. Thick canvas covers with padded seat and back. The straps are made of leather. This piece of furniture is a fine example of vintage scandinavian design from a time when IKEA was just getting started.
