Product description
Originally designed and manufactured in 1923 by Gerrit Rietveld.
Unfortunately, none of the original series seems to have survived, but in the 1960s copies were made to order by Rietveld's former assistant, Gerard Van de Groenekan.
Not much is known about this particular wagon, yet it is a more modern replica based on its condition and use of nuts and bolts.
The bright and saturated color scheme reminds us of the work of Piet Mondrian, who, like Rietveld, was a member of the De Stijl movement.
Some scratches here and there, otherwise in very good condition.
