Product description
This stunning wall lamp, crafted in the 1960s by the small Sejer Keramik pottery on the Danish island of Funen, is a remarkable piece of mid-century design. Made from brown stoneware with a bright white glaze, the lamp combines earthy textures with a refined finish. In excellent vintage condition, it is updated with new electrical wiring for modern use. Fridtjof Sejersen was a Danish ceramic artist and founder of Sejer Keramikfabrik, active in the 1960s on the island of Funen. The studio produced handmade ceramics such as vases and lamps, known for their earthy materials and refined glazes. Sejer Keramik existed for only a decade (c. 1960-1970), making the pieces rare and sought after by collectors of Scandinavian design.
