This iconic Lotus bar stool is a creation from the 1970s by Japanese industrial designer Yasu Sasamoto.
He was the first to shape the idea of putting a "tractor seat" on a stool.
DULTON is/was the manufacturer of this (and also other) stools.
For example, the Wisdom Tooth and the Clipper.
Yasu has been associated with DULTON for many years.
Today, DULTON still makes beautiful design and industrial interior pieces, but the Lotus stools have been out of collection/production for quite some time.
Offered bar stool is made in full chrome !
This bar stool model is not very often offered online. Moreover, this chrome version is even rarer than, for example, in the paint colors white, cream or black.
