Italian vintage 'Demetrio 70' coffee table in space age style. This table was designed in 1966 by the famous designer Vico Magistretti. It is made entirely in plastic by the company Artemide. The coffee table in a deep red color has a playful design with its gloss and rounded corners. Vico Magistretti was one of the most prominent and important designers in Italian history. his designs are a permanent part of the MoMA (Museum of Modern Art) in New York, among others.
The table is in nice vintage condition. Superficial scratches can be detected which is certainly not unusual considering its age and the material used. The table has been re-polished so they are certainly less disturbing and the original shine is visible again. At the bottom the table is marked (see photo)
