Original DC-3 wingtip manufactured between 1941-1945. After the original layers of paint have been removed, the riveted surface is polished. To be suitable as a desk, the wing is turned upside down. The wing has two aluminum supports at the bottom, on which four polished cast aluminum legs are mounted. The wingtip best reflects the style of pre-war aviation designs, with its elliptical tip and hundreds of mushroom rivets, but it also has a contemporary look with its mirror-finish polished surface and sleek lines.
