The idea for this dining table came about through the acquisition of an over 100-year-old apple tree trunk in the Augsburg area. The trunk has a diameter of approx. 60 cm.
With a lot of manual work, the trunk was processed into a special base for this table. The Float glass plate lying on it has a thickness of 2 cm, a diameter of 120 cm with polished edges.
The glass plate rests on 4 (5 cm high) plexiglass columns that are fixed in the Wood . Trunk height approx. 68 cm, table height 74 cm.
An eye-catcher in a hotel reception area, entrance or modern architecture. The glass plate can be removed for transport.
