Product description
Sublime and rare hollow bowl, fruit bowl/compote, with handles, Terre de Fer earthenware, early Longchamp manufacture. Cream earthenware with motifs of various flowers, anemones, primroses, goat-leaves, roses, linen... Polychrome. Brush-edged dark blue rim, light blue handles with dark blue leaf motifs. Hand-painted. Stamped Longchamp Terre de Fer. 26cm in diameter, 6.5cm high at full aut. 30cm total width with handles. Good overall condition, with a few relatively discreet grain and wear marks and small stains, few wear micro-scratches on the bottom, a few rub marks on the handles and rims (fewer and smaller), patterns in good condition. However, one of the edges has a hair, 6cm recto/verso, which is not fragile and remains fairly inconspicuous. Approx. 1kg.
