As a painter, Cor quickly and delicately puts his brushes on the canvas with lots of color. In order to broaden his vision on art, he has gained a lot of
inspiration over the past years working in the studio of the famous Amsterdam painter Peter Diem.
His abstract work is rich in color and volume, a high-level style of his own is portrayed. Cor 's inspiration is global, his portraits of Papuans for example are surprising and highly regarded. He applies his colors thickly and without restraint to the canvas.
'Vuurvogel' was painted in 2012 in the small village 'Vernusse' in France where Cor Hendriksen lived at the time.
The painting is in perfect condition and framed. It comes with a signed and dated certificate of authenticity by the artist.
