Original coffee table model 535, known as 'the Mug' is a 1953 design by Wim Rietveld for Gispen. This coffee table or side table is also known as Mosquito.
It is a two-tier coffee table with black metal base, round black metal base plate and a top of safety glass. In the glass there are two dots on the side (from this you can see that the top is original. They are the support dots during the manufacture of the glass in the furnace).
The glass is flawless, with no defects. The black rubbers that support the shelf and the glass top are also original and also without defects.
In short, this coffee table is in very good condition !
