Danish coffee table model PK61A by Poul Kjærholm for E. Kold Christensen
Here we present a piece that is a true gem of design.
Rare and highly prized by Scandinavian design collectors, this coffee table with its 3 cm thick marble top on a steel blade structure typical of this designer is quite simply magnificent.
This PK61A model is an original edition for Kold Christensen, with the stamp of authenticity engraved into the mass of the two side rails. Not to be confused with the Fritz Hansen editions of the 2000s.
To date, we have found no dealer offering this original 60's model in this shape and size, making this table a true collector's item.
Produced at the end of the 60s, this table shows some signs of use and age, signs of its authenticity and sturdiness.
The structure shows slight traces of oxidation, while the marble is well preserved despite minor wear and tear. (see photos)
