Color screen print by Co Westerik from 1999, Man reading at the table. The silkscreen is printed by hand on handmade paper with 9 printing passes. Format 65 x 59 cm, image size 46 x 40 cm. Edition of 125. Signed number: 'hc'.
Westerik's work has been part of many major international exhibitions such as the Venice Biennale (1962 and 1982) and the Paris Biennale (1959 and 1985). He had retrospective exhibitions at the Kunstmuseum in The Hague, Van Abbemuseum in Eindhoven, Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam, Palace of Fine Arts in Brussels, Staatliche Kunsthallen Berlin and Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen in Rotterdam. Westerik made paintings, watercolors, drawings, lithographs and etchings.
