Product description
Numbered and signed color screenprint: "Un Parajo.... Gala en New York" 2003, No. 36/100 Clemens Briels. In excellent condition. Corneille was a Dutch painter. In 1948 he and others, including Karel Appel, founded the Cobra movement. This was an avant-garde group active from 1948 to 1951. From 1960 he fell back on more figurative art with abstract elements, with women, birds, flowers and often characters being part of his artistic vocabulary. His many travels largely define the nature of his colorful work. This signed and numbered silkscreen has never been framed and is kept in dark archival storage between protective acid-free paper. The photographs shown are part of the description, the frame(size) shown are for illustrative purposes and is not included. Any numbering of the artwork in the photos is for illustrative purposes only. The correct number, if applicable, will always be in the description of the artwork. This artwork will be carefully packed and shipped in protective acid-free paper in a sturdy tube. Your shipment will be tracked with track&trace. If you have any questions, please contact Daniel by sending a message.
